Our New Addition!!!!

Micah got Mya an early birthday present this year. She named him Bumbo, he is a French Bulldog. I can't believe we actually own a puppy now.
*okay, this was Micah that posted this....he is trying to convince me into getting a a dog. When he was little he would ask for a puppy every year for christmas and his birthday and never got one. He thinks every kid needs a puppy. He has a lot of convincing to do to get me to agree.*

DONT DO IT!!! Just kidding, i love diesel but he is seriously a pain most of the time. it is just so different having a dog in a city than it was having a dog on the farm back home. it is so much more expensive for all the shots they have to get and the food and then they tear up your yard!!
AND you have to pick up their poo! that part really sucks! but it is fun having a dog, and its nice to feel safe because of him...anyway, just thought i would warn you a little, at least micah will be home soon so you can make him take care of it (if you get it), i am here by myself now so i'm not really thrilled about having to deal with diesel alone. but he does add security, so thats nice. sorry i always do such long comments!

I think that it looks way cute in the picture until you actually get it... Well it might be a good thing for Micah since he hasn't been around kids he will get a taste of them really quick......

I totally agree that every kid should grow up with pets! Maybe just don't get a big dog like Sarah's. We have a miniature poodle, and he is the best dog ever. Caleb loves him. That puppy in the picture is SO dang cute though!

Julie! Don't do it! It's like having another kid! Yes, Micah, they're cute. But they poop all over and eat a bunch of stinky food, not to mention the whole dying thing you have to deal with with pets. It's no good I tell you, no good. Ooo, and would you let it in your house? Yep, that means hair and stinkiness on everything. Although we do have some interesting neighbors that need to be attacked by some kind of creature...or at least have THEIR lawns pooped on for a change.

I totally fell for it. :) I'm not an animal person, but I do find that kind of dog to be cute. Probably just in a picture though. :)
