STILL just a little guy

Tay had his 15 month well check yesterday and I was thinking for sure he would weigh at least 19 lbs. Well, I was wrong. We weighs a whopping 17 lbs 10 oz! the average one year old weighs at least 20 pounds. Poor little Tay is in the 0.08 percentile. I'm afraid he doesn't have a chance at being big. I would be worried if he never ate but it is the opposite. He eats and eats and does well at drinking milk so the doctor said he just must be built little. (Sorry Micah, I hope you weren't wanting a little football star!)He sure is a sweet boy and cracks me up everyday. I was getting mad at Mya one day and I give her to the count of three to respond and Tay must be use to hearing it because I started out holding up my finger and said "ONE" and Tay held up his finger and said "TEEEUUUU" It was soo funny. He is getting to be so big. Well....not so much big, but older. Mya is getting better at listening too. The other day in the bathtub she started splashing and I just looked at her and she sighed and put her head down and said "aah, I know better than to do that" She is being so sweet lately. It kind of has me thinking what is going on? Who would have thought that our little "angel of darkness" as Tyce calls her is no longer living up to her name! I'm just crossing my fingers that it will stay that way.

I'm pregnant!

Yes...We are expecting baby number three!!!! People may think we're crazy and they are probably right but hey, what do you expect after being apart for a year. You can just start calling me fertile Myrtle. I figure if I can take care of a newborn and a two year old for a year by myself then I can take care of three with my husband home right? (haha) I hear three is a whole different ballgame. Hope I'm ready cause I kind of have to be now. I am due Feb 25th and can't wait to see what we are going to have this time and what it will look like!

Babies babies everywhere!!

Today I went up north to my old roommate Robyn's baby shower. It was so much fun to see her again. And Micah is so sweet to stay at home all day with the kids and just let me have a day away!

This is a pic of all the girls at the shower who are pregnant in order of due date.

Lunch with old friends

I was so excited to get a phone call from my friend Rachel saying Tasha was in town! We all went to college together and it was so fun to get together again. We need to do it more often! It is so crazy to see how everyone's lives have changed. We all have kids now which is crazy because when we get together, we kind of act like kids ourselves and to think we are moms now.... Wow how times change.

A day at the salon

Mya's new hair

So lately Mya has been obsessed with being a "hair styler" as she calls it and plays with my hair every day. It is so funny to hear her while she does it because she copies what I tell her when I do her hair every day. My favorite is when she tells me to be patient and if I don't hold still it will take longer. Anyway, I usually cut her and Tay's hair but I thought it would be fun for her to see what it was like in a real salon. She was so cute. She had a grin ear to ear seriously the whole time she was there and for only eight dollars, it was totally worth it.

Memory Tag

Here is a fun memory tag
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Fun at Sand Hollow

Yesterday we went to Sand Hollow with friends and family and had a great time. For some reason Tay hates water. He will never get in the pool or anything and the whole day he would not get in the water the whole time until finally at the end of the day he decided to give it a try and realized it was fun!

Mya's Birthday

It is so much fun that Mya's birthday is on the Fourth-of-July. We had a fun filled day with Micah's family. Mya had a blast with Ella, Kate, and Alex decorating cupcakes and got come cute presents from family and friends. Thanks everyone. She was so excited to get to play with her cousins.

Mya's birthday cake

When we were growing up, My mom use to always make us homemade cakes for our birthdays and it has carried on to me and my kids. I think it is so much fun to make a cute cake each year for their birthdays. This year Mya wanted a pink cake. She is obsessed with pink. She couldn't decide between My Little Pony or a Barbie but as soon as she found out the barbie dress could be pink she had her mind made up.
I decided to try something new so I went and bought some fondant. I was kind of scared it would turn into a disaster because I have never used fondant before but it turned out okay I think. Lets just hope it stays that way over night. That is why I had to take a pic. as soon as I got done...just incase it happens to fall apart before morning.
