Micah and I have been wanting to paint for a long time now, and we finally buckled down and did it. We started when the kids went down for naps and hoped to get it done before they woke up. Luckily, they both slept for three hours and we had it finished and cleaned up by the time they woke up. We had a good time, we turned on conference and painted away. I am still getting use to it and can't decide if I like it, but I think it will grow on me. Paint always looks so different when it is actually on the wall and not just a little "card" that you get as a sample.
Here is the before and after of part of the kitchen. The color we got I think is called earth green. It looks a little different in a picture than it does in real life.
I didn't take a picture of this wall before it was painted, but I think it turned out really pretty with the white piano.

It looks really pretty! I like it a lot. It makes me want to paint since we actually can in our apt. now...I just don't know if I want do all that work just to have to paint it back white when we leave. Good job, it looks great!
Very pretty, you ambitious little pregnant lady! And I love your white piano, it does look amazing against the color.
Looks like you guys did a nice job? We painted awhile ago and still haven't done the touch ups (and there are a lot needed).
It looks really good. I bet you'll end up loving it, but it does take a while to get used to a colorful wall. I like it though! Good job!
The color is awesome! I know what you mean, it's so hard to pick our colors. They never turn out like the little sample card, but your house is gorgeous!
I love it! way to go! i love painting. it's amazing how different a room can look in a matter of hours! Looks great! plus if you decide you hate it- paint it a different color! I'm a fan though!
The paint looks awesome! I'm very impressed you got it done so quickly!
I'm dying to know about your new neighbors. Hopefully we didn't sell our place to any weirdos. For your sake, anyway. With the market the way it is, I would have sold it to the highest bidding coke-head--if it weren't for you guys across the street, of course.
We miss you! Mya and Tay are so adorable.
