Saving money

I had to post an update about the whole coupon thing. I thought that at first it would be a pain to use coupons but it really isn't bad and doesn't take that much time. After you check out you just hand them a big stack and they scan them all through. It's pretty fast.
I am pretty excited about my savings. All of this food originally cost $34.00 but after it being on sale and me having a coupon on top of that I got it all for $9.60!

I got six boxes of cereal for $3.20!, the salad dressing was only 15 cents a bottle, each chex mix was 40 cents... anyway, I was happy to see it really is worth it. Waahh Whoooo! I actually get kind of excited to go grocery shopping for the first time ever.

Hey Marcie, Its called Grocery Smarts. It is a little confusing at first but once you go shopping a couple times you get the hang of it. It helps to go to a class on how to do it effectively. Here is a blog of a girl who teaches classes up north http://astealofadeal.blogspot.com/2009/06/grocery-smarts-classes.html

i dont think i have any tricks, unless you count that when they were first planted Diesel ate half of them and pulled them out of the dirt....but i don't think that helped them out at all. :) i'm sure yours will start growing. i think it is funny that after the massive gardens my parents used to grow i still have no clue what to do! i really just planted them and watered and got lucky i think. :)

Just commenting on Sarah's garden, you have to remeber that she lives in Las Vegas and you live in Cedar City. She probably planted hers before you. Then remeber that I live in Cache Valley and haven't seen the sun for 5 days. But the rain makes me allergies better so I am really not complaining. Anyways, what do they teach you in a class? I am not sure if that is an option for me, is that annoying if you just give me your passport? You can email it to me if that is better. But if you don't want to you don't have to.

Oh, and we should have tried to sell those songs in Nashville, I am pretty sure they would have went straight to #1. We were dorks. I remeber just a singin on the tramp and we had actions and everything. Oh My. I better get a girl someday because that would be scary of one of my boys took after me;)
