HURRAY FOR CHRISTMAS
Ok, ok, I will admit I am a little too much like the Griswalds about Christmas this year, it is just that I am SOOOOO excited to see Micah that I figure that maybe if I get ready for Christmas now, it will come sooner, hopefully. It was so cute I was telling Mya her dad was going to come home soon for Christmas and she said we needed to get him a present. I asked her what we should buy him and she said, I have a good Idea, Daddy would like a super hero. We can't wait to see you Micah!!!!!

1-I have never been on an airplane, speaking of airplanes, I need a vacation

2-I play the saxophone

3-I Drove an Astro mini-van in high school and college

4-If I could do it all over again, I would have gone to hair school instead of college and open a massage/tanning/hair salon designed especially for mothers with babysitting provided. (oh and Crystal you can put your boutique there too)

5-I hate going to bed with a messy house. I have to have the living room and kitchen clean

before I can sit down at night

6-I saw a cricket in our house once and told Micah to get it and by the time he got around to it, it was gone and I cried until he found it and killed it (I was pregnant by the way)

7-After a nine hour labor, I had Tay without any medication and will probably have the rest my kids that way

Funny Mya sayings

I decided to create a post of silly things Mya says and does each day. I know that Micah would like to hear about them because by the time I talk to him I usually forget to tell him lots of things so this is for you Micah.
Newest silly Mya saying- She asked Pam for a starburst and Pam said I don't know ask your mom and she put it back and said "I probably shouldn't, I already had a skittles"
* She wanted to play a game so we were getting it ready and she said "be patient mom k, be patient"
*Beth gave her a sugar cookie and she said "Suga.... I love suga...." (she can't say her r's very well.
*We were driving down the road one day and there was a tree thats leaves had turned red and she said "A red tree? I neva seen a red tree before"
*I was taking her to the bathroom and she didn't quite make it and said " I sorry mom, I didn't mean to, you my best friend."
*Every time Micah gets on the web cam she reminds him how when he comes home for christmas he has to bring her home a sucker because he brought her one way back in August, and for some reason a pink truck.
* I was putting her to bed and she said mom, I have teeth and you have teeth and Lance has teeth but Tyce doesn't have teeth, he needs to go to the store and buy some so he can be happy.
I guess Tyce must not smile that much.

Torture

Micahs response after being shot with pepper spray for his Military Police Training. Micah said this was the most painful thing he has ever done and would not wish it upon anyone. The women who had to do it said they would have a natural child birth over doing that again. He said he would have a hard time spraying the detainees with because he knows how bad it hurts. Micah's Sgt. couldn't take it, when they sprayed him, he had to be taken away in an ambulance. Wow Micah is one tough cookie!

Cabin

Micah got to come home for a couple days at the end of Aug. before he went to Iraq. Micah was really excited to be able to be home and just wanted to be in the mountains. We had a good time. It just happened to be the bow hunt at the time too so that was an added bonus.

Wayne High school musical

Tonight I went to the school musical that my brother Tyce was in. It was fun to watch and made me miss my old high school drama days. It was called "Into The Woods" I took Mya and she loved it. I didn't think she would sit through the whole thing but she did. She wouldn't take her eyes off it. During intermission she got mad and started singing "into the woods... into the woods... to grandmothers house...."some of the words to a song and said I want to go back into the woods. Who knows, maybe we will have a little actress in the family.
